Sammy Hagar…

Believe it or not, something I was watching this morning made me think of Sammy Hagar.

Sammy Hagar is a rock legend, (if you didnt know), but I’ll get back to him in just a second. I was watching the news this morning, (very unusual for me), and was watching the governments and economies around the world simply falling apart. This includes places that were insulated from such things so many years ago, like Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece.

The demonstrations in England really caught my attention because the folks were having their pensions cut again by their government. I have to ask you, are they really “your pensions” when someone can simply step in when things are bad and reduce your percentage of growth or your payouts?

I cannot imagine giving an employer such as the government 30 years of hard work, 30 years of commitment, and 30 years of time away from my family, in exchange for a pension that will keep you at the poverty level throughout your “golden years”.

 Sammy Hagar…is my mentor so I guess I should let him know, huh?

It got me to thinking about a new song that I heard recently by one of my lifelong mentors, (he doesn’t know it yet), Sammy Hagar. Now, you don’t have to love rock n roll to absolutely love this guy. He decided a long time ago to do what he loved…write and perform rock songs his way, and build businesses along the way without compromise.

Sammy Hagar has become one of the most successful musician/entrepreneurs of our time and has a net worth of $120 million dollars as of today. But it wasnt always like that for Sammy.

 Sammy Hagar had struggles just like me and you…

As a child he and his Mom used to dig through dumpsters for food and eventually ended up living in their car for a while shortly after leaving his violent, alcoholic Father. (I can relate to this one). The point is he never wavered as he came up through the musical ranks.

I recently read Sammy’s book, “RED” and learned how he always held steady to his beliefs and his vision of writing the best songs, putting on the best shows, (many free admissions), and giving back to society as he made his way.

sammy hagar has several restaurants, clubs and foundations now and helps people of every race, and religion. He still plays concerts around the world many times losing money just to bring his music to his audience.

After seeing all this turmoil in the news, it made me think of Sammy Hagar’s band Chickenfoot’s new song, “Three and a Half Letters”. Even if rock music offends you, you should simply watch for the message in the video. At the end is the website for one of the charities he supports.

If interested, I also embedded the video of how the song came about. These are real letters from struggling people right here in the United States. The story is interesting, and just to warn you there is a couple of “F-bombs” in both videos, but please don’t let that take away from the message, especially this time of year.

It’s good to know there are folks like Sammy Hagar that Have Made It, and havent forgotten where they came from!

Folks, there is no security in working for anyone else, it doesn’t matter if it’s a company with just 3 employees or General Motors, (hence the government bailout). You must take control of your own destiny, plain and simple. There is no better way to do this than to have an online business…YOU CONTROL EVERYTHING!

The MLM Call Center

In this day and age of the fast profits and quick results mentality, the mlm call center has become a tool that many companies are utilizing these days, and some are very successful in doing it. Well, I guess it depends on how you measure success, right?

Let’s look at it from the company perspective. They receive a fee for their services (usually a mo. fee) paid by the associates that signed up for the company’s marketing program.

Most of them already have the vehicle in place to field inbound calls and to make the one or two outbound calls to prospects that either requested additional information or paid an application fee to find out more about the program.

They will lose no money, ever and they can control the process from the start, which means they can keep a really “promising” prospect for their own downlines, because more times than not the “closers” that call your potential customers back are also in the business just like you, but have already reached a certain level of success (Presidential or Diamond or whatever they call it in their program), and therefore this whole situation could be considered a conflict of interest couldn’t it?

Especially when someone can just “cherry pick” the leads that I’ve worked hard to get or even worse, paid to get. Someone might say they provide a much needed service in this world of no time for anything else but that J.O.B. and my kids and I would say there is some truth to that.

If  a person has $100-$200 per month just to pay for this service (some are more), and an additional $1,000-$2,000 per month for marketing and can quickly get several “high ticket” sales and commissions, then yes, it would be considered a good decision.

And keep in mind, your program then would have to be a Top Tier program not a traditional MLM.

It is sad to say but many people today cannot afford that kind of money for 3-4 months to get going. Also, in the present environment, building trust and rapport with prospects is key. How in the world can you do that especially when your product may cost $1000, $2000 or even $8000? You can’t if an mlm call center is doing the so called rapport building for you.

Many associates are simply making money from the 20-25 people that pay an app fee which runs $30-$40, plus a preliminary “to become a rep” sign up fee of $100-$200. These together can add up to $3000-$4000 by themselves, even if nobody signs up for their higher priced products.

And where does that leave the new associate?

It leaves them $200-$250 poorer and a sponsor that will never call them back because they have no vested interest in that new associate.

Folks, the mlm recruiting code was finally broken years ago. Mike Dillard has taught this for years now and really changed the aspect of recruiting; it’s really about building “You Inc”. You must provide leadership, training and value plain and simple. You have to become an “alpha” personality.

If that’s not you, you must learn from those that are.

Study what they do, watch what they teach and hang out in their presence whenever possible and you too can learn the traits of the Alpha Networker.

The true alpha will eventually have an MLM Call Center doing the heavy lifting for them and qualifying their leads. They would have reached a certain level of success that only allows them to speak to the super serious, super qualified prospects about joining their business.

Many of these heavy hitters have 2,000 visitors to their site or blog per day. They simply have to get a vehicle like the mlm call center in place to help filter through the tire kickers, otherwise they would get nowhere, there’s just not enough time in the day.

But that’s not what we’re talking about here…

In the beginning you just cannot have someone else building that all important relationship for you, unless you just have thousands and thousands of dollars to throw at your business and most do not. The relationship should have already started being built by the vehicle and presentations you have in place that create a magnetic force attracting people to you.

Well, so much for being a short post. Let me just leave you with this.

As I said, In the beginning, unless you have $2000-$3000 to spend each and every month, call your own prospects back. Not only will they appreciate it but if they do come on board with you, they will be more likely to take the action steps and training to heart that you’re providing, resulting in a more profitable business model for them and for you in the long run as their sponsor.

Just remember, if you’re just starting out and you have limited marketing funds and you want to build it the right way, then you don’t need an MLM Call Center.

Xango Compensation

The Xango Compensation Model…

Xango is another network marketing company offering its wares, (a mangosteen juice), among other products, through an MLM structure. Network marketing can be quite the lucrative venture for the right people, or should I say for the people with the right attitude and work ethic.
Xango is another one of “those” health and wellness MLM companies that has experienced great success utilizing a very good product line of nutritionals. Xango actually has more than one million distributors internationally and advertises a 50% payout on “qualified commissionable” sales volume.
Many times network marketing companies will “get ya” on the terminology used in the contract. What exactly is “qualified commissionable”? Well, when you actually read the distributor agreement or should I say have your attorney read it, (laymen’s terms are rarely used), you come to realize that technically the company is above board, but very few distributors will realize success.
And “technically” doesn’t pay the bills for the thousands of Xango distributors out there. We will take a closer look at the Xango compensation plan in this piece to hopefully shed some light on the sometimes confusing world of MLM compensation plans as a whole, and Xango in particular.

Let’s look closer at the 4 Main Ways to make money with the Xango compensation plan:

1) Xango Compensation Feature #1- Retail Sales are a large part of the Xango compensation structure. Basically the distributor will purchase the product at wholesale cost and sell it to a customer (a non distributor), at the retail price and keep the difference as their profit.

2) Xango Compensation Feature #2-The Power Start bonus can vary between twenty and thirty percent depending on sales volume and is based on any brand new customers or brand new distributor you bring into the business. The Xango autoship or ADP as they like to refer it is usually the $100 or $200 level, therefore at the higher percentage; your commission would either be $30 or $60 respectively. This is a weekly paid bonus.

3) Xango Compensation Feature #3- The Unilevel Residual Income bonuses are commissions paid out monthly and pays between five and ten percent on your first three levels down of all “re-orders”. You can qualify to receive monies at deeper levels, but these drop down to the two to five percent range.

4) Xango Compensation Feature #4-Bonus Pooling is only for distributors that have reached the “Premier Level” within Xango. The company holds back three percent of sales volume to be distributed among this elite group known as the Global Bonus Pool every quarter.

Like so many other MLM compensation plans out there, a determined, trainable person can become quite wealthy utilizing them if they work hard, and the Xango compensation plan is no different. Unfortunately, most MLM compensation plans are designed to make money for the “alpha personalities” out there, not the “average Joes”, hence the high failure rate in our industry.
Simply put, traditional MLM companies are flawed in the way in which they pay their representatives, hence the 97% failure rate of new people coming into the respective companies. Most new people average only $10 per week in their MLM which is both sad and troubling.

Cash Gifting Leads…

Acquiring cash gifting leads is no different than any other online or network marketing business. You have to learn how to generate the leads first of all, generate the leads in huge quantities and then convert the leads to “sales”, oh excuse me “gifters” to be successful.

Cash Gifting Leads-Is Cash Gifting Legal in the First Place?

The internet today is clogged full of these so called “legal” gifting programs and they prey on folks that simply need “fast cash”. Well, actually the majority of people that get into these schemes many times feel desperate, therefore they fall for anything.

As Zig Ziglar said, “many times when we’re desperate we just grasp for
straws, but too many times we grab the wrong straws”.

The very small percentage of successful gifting gurus out there tout the
IRS Code as their basis for stating the legalities to potential new
“victims”, sorry I mean “gifters” they speak with. The problem with that is
all of the gray areas you have to contend with in the interpretation.

Everyone looks at it differently and this is evidenced by the fact of
several states’ Attorney Generals filing cases against gifting programs and
individuals alike. When trying to make you drink the gifting kool aid, the
guru gifters will tell you, “the IRS code definition doesn’t say you cannot
do it exactly”.

Really? There also is not a law that specifically states you cannot murder
someone in this or that brutal, particular way per se, but they certainly
find a way to charge you with 1st or 2nd degree murder, RIGHT? They don’t
charge you with murder by an ice pick in the back. It’s simply a wishful
way of thinking in our civilized society of laws.

I personally don’t want the United States government sticking their nose
into my business, period. The funny thing is, most of these gifting gurus
never stay in it indefinitely. They end up gravitating to a real mlm or
online marketing business; because even they know it’s not really right
when you think about it reasonably.

Cash Gifting Leads-How Did I Do It?

I can personally speak from experience because the first thing I got
involved with online was cash gifting. Because I was desperate to figure
out this “internet thing” so I allowed myself to get drawn into this
sometimes “dark” activity.

There I was, I had already sent in my $3,000 (yes, you read correctly), so
I knew I had to figure out how to generate my own cash gifting leads. My so
called sponsor (oh yeah, I forgot, it’s not mlm), my whatever he was,
wouldn’t call me back so I knew I would have to go it alone.

I figured out through my own studying and investigation how to do videos
fairly well, so I was cranking those babies out and blasting them using Traffic Geyser.

The problem was, I had no clue how to really present or convert anything. I
knew nothing about SEO or driving any other traffic. I didn’t know about
paid strategies like solo ads or ppc, and I certainly didn’t know how to
create my own blog so I couldn’t start driving traffic virally. I was a
boat without oars.

I did have some luck creating cash gifting leads, but it just wasn’t enough
to sustain it. Ya see, in cash gifting, because of the terrible publicity,
the potential of legal issues, cases filed against some people by attorney
generals and the simple non existence of an authority on any of it really,
does have you running uphill from the start.

Cash Gifting Leads-The Last Word…

I wasn’t impressed by any mlm products out there when I first got online,
so cash gifting attracted me since there was no product involved. And
basically all you were doing was paying someone to supposedly train you how
to market online and get cash gifting leads.

So, it’s like an MLM without the hassles of a product. Most folks get involved
in MLM for the business opportunity attached anyway, not the products.

Problem is, most MLM or affiliate programs pay such low percentages that
most folks can’t sustain their business online and quit after a short time.

Top MLM Companies do have a pattern…

This post about the 8 things the Top MLM companies should have needs to become your “should I sign
up with this MLM Company” bible. Because it is so difficult to find the company with the
“right stuff” and one that gives you the warm fuzzy, having a simple guide, that you can literally
print out and check off as you do your due diligence is imperative.

Personally, I am an MLM orphan myself, so I understand the sleepless nights, feelings of
being in limbo, and absolute indecision or should I say bad decisions that follow many times.
Being careful and not being afraid to call and actually speak to a possible future sponsor goes
a long way when doing your research.

There are things that the top MLM Companies do right without fail, and we will cover 8 of the most important things that are inherent to
their structure in this article.

• Time in Business- Starting a new
  business venture in itself is a difficult and bold move for most, but making it
  in the network marketing world can be even a more daunting task. Too many
  times, the principles involved simply don’t have the marketing background or
  enough experience in the industry as a whole.

Once an MLM Company reaches the two year mark, well, you can breathe a sigh of relief,
but if a company hits five years, let just say you can take that money to the bank. The percentage level
the company will make it at that point is in the high 90’s.

• Compensation Plan- There are so many
  different compensation plan structures out there that it makes your head spin.
  The complexity of most simply make my brain hurt. Many of the more successful
  MLM companies seem to depend more on simplicity than anything.

I have found the dual binary compensation plan to be the best for a couple of reasons.
Since most people that get involved with an MLM company sponsor 2.9 people,
a dual binary gives you a better chance to actually build a team, therefore keeping you in the
business.

The trick is to find one that doesn’t have too many hoops to jump through so you can qualify
for all the well advertised bonuses within the company. Too many MLM Companies make it too
difficult to qualify and end up keeping the large majority of the commissions.

• Product Appeals to Other Network Marketers-The
  majority of your prospects will be other failing network marketers, and statistics
  show 95-97% will not immediately join you in your primary MLM Company.

Therefore having a product line that can assist them now, goes a long way to developing a
future long term relationship because statistically they will be looking for a new MLM home
soon.

• Paid Quickly and Often- A large
  majority of your prospects will be orphans from other MLM Companies, therefore
  being able to get them into money quickly is critical. So many newbies quit in
  their first 90-120 days and one of the main reasons is money.

Because it does take some money to market your business, having the ability to get them into
cash fast, goes a long way in keeping attrition to a minimum. Top MLM Companies have many
ways topay including “quick start” bonuses and they pay frequently at least once per
week.

• A True Stand Alone Product- This area
  can get a little grey sometimes in what people consider “stand alone”. Think of
  it this way. If the business opportunity wasn’t attached to the product, could
  you walk down the street going business to business and market your product to
  those businesses?

Can those business owners find a viable use for your product in their business? If you can
honestly answer yes, then you have a true “stand alone” product or service. If not, well then you
need to call me so I can help you.

• Is the Company Creating Millionaires-
  If a network marketing company has created quite a few millionaires in
  reference to the number of years in business, then everything works for them.
  They most likely have harmony across the board in the areas that count such as
  recruiting, training, company management, product development, bonus
  qualifications, etc.

Top MLM Companies do these things well which insures that attrition stay low, therefore
making it easier for teams to grow their organizations into MLM empires not just organizations.

• Does Business Internationally- Being
  able to build teams and organizations across the oceans can be huge. In this
  day and age of social networks such as Facebook, the ability to create friends and
  contacts overseas has never been higher.

You never want to have to tell a well qualified friend in another country that he cannot
become part of your team because the company is not there yet. It would kill you mentally to have
to tell a well established real estate investor in another country that they will have to wait.
We both know that unless the day is on the calendar with the company to open in that
particular market, then you’ll most likely lose them plain and simple.

• Part of a Growing Trend- The majority
  of people that have built massive organizations and made insane amounts of
  money in network marketing were with companies that had cutting edge products
  that were part of a growing trend. In this market you need to set yourself
  apart from the crowd and doing that with a “me too” product is more difficult
  to do, but not impossible.

Your path to success in network marketing will be a road easier to travel with products such
as these. It’s hard enough in MOM without stacking the cards against you at the outset. Why
not get yourself a head start with products that are on the front of a “wave”.

Well, there you have it. Print this checklist and use it when researching Top MLM Companies.
Of course there are other things to consider, but this gives you a good basis to work from.
